The ASCAMM Technology Centre was founded in 1987 by the Asociación Catalana de Empresas de Moldes y Matrices (Catalan Association of Dies and Mould Makers) and since 1997 has the legal status of a private foundation (Fundació Privada ASCAMM).

Its mission is to improve companies’ competitiveness through innovation and technology development, training, quality control and internationalisation, in the die and mould subsector specifically and in the metal and plastic transformation sectors in general.

The centre is located in the Parc Tecnològic del Vallès. Its activities are focused on R&D projects and on technological innovation, product and process engineering, specialized technical education, technology transfer assessment, mould quality certification, dimensional metrology and international technological cooperation.
