This project is part of the European Union’s 6th Framework Programme. It has a total budget of more than 10 million euros, with EU funding equal to 5.4 million. It is an ambitious project aimed at the development of an interactive platform for the CUSTOMIZED design and production implantable prostheses to be delivered within 48 hours from the request, using techniques such as Rapid Manufacturing. Twenty-five affiliates are participating from throughout Europe, including European Technology Centres of renowned prestige. NEOS plays an important role in this consortium as it participates as a “Core Partner” and as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors.
