Functionalization of polymers for the manufacture of advanced biomedical products.
NEOS is part of the 18-partner consortium of the Bioavan Project (Profit Singular y Estratégico) part of the Spanish National Programme of Technology for Health and Well-Being. The main objective of the project is to develop smart polymers for the production of advanced biomedical products. The polymers are considered smart due to the fact that they possess certain interesting qualities from a biological, toxicological, biomechanical, regenerative, etc. point of view.
